Diary of a Job Seeker #1

When I chose to major in Computer Science I optimistically/naively thought I would have employers lining up to hire me before I'd even graduated. However, before too long I realized, along with many others, that it may not be so simple.

It seems that landing a tech job in the current landscape requires more legwork than we initially thought. Luckily, however, it is far from impossible. With enough time and dedication I know that preparation and opportunity will meet.

I'm starting this blog series in order to document my search for a job in tech, what I learn, and maybe even help some people who are or will be in my shoes. Hopefully you learn something or enjoy it :)
